SWEET DISH
INGRIDIENTS:
- Whole milk(full fat)->1litre
- Rice ->1handful
- cardamom(choti ilaichi)->4 pieces
- saunf /fennel seeds ->1tsp
- soaked almonds ->20piece
- soaked raisin ->20 pieces
- cashew nut ->10 piece
- pistachu ->10piece
- chironji ->1.5 tsp
- coconut milk ->1/4 litre
- sugar ->1/2 kg
- dates ->15 piece
Method:
- Soak the rice in lukewarm water for 1 hour.
- boil the milk,after that add the soaked rice in it.
- add whole saunf in it.
- Keep it in the medium flame for 1to 1.5 hours.
- keep stirring it with spatula
- Add all the dryfruits in it
- after 1to 1.5hr add 1/4 litre coconut milk in it.
- add half kg sugar in it.
- decorate it with dates.
- remove it from the flame.
- now sprinkle the cardamom powder in it.
- now payasam is ready for eat.
TIPS:-
- keep stirring it otherwise it may smell in bottom side.
- can add the milk maid in the end ,it has sugar already , so decrease the quantity of sugar in kheer.
- remove it from gas after adding the coconut milk,sugar powder.
