INGRIDIENTS
- rice-1cup
- yellow lentil- 1/2cup
- desi ghee-1/2 cup
- sugar-3/4cup
- shredded dry coconut-1 cup
- raisins-20piece
- cashew nut-20pieces
- almond-10 pieces
- dalchini powder-1pinch
- green cardomn-2pinch
- saunf-1tsp
METHOD:
- firstly roast the lentil without oil.
- just heat the pan and put the lentil and let it roat.
- after that wash it.
- no presoaking is required.add 1/2 cup desi ghee.
- add water .it is double amount of rice quantity+same quantity of yellow lentil(means 3 cup water)
- take the pressure cooker.add 3 cup water .
- let it hot .
- after that add rice and yellow lentil.
- add roasted cashew nuts,almonds,raisin ,shredded coconut in it.
- in spices add dalchini ,laung,saunf,green cardomn.
- add sugar (should be half quantity oflentil+rice mixture).
- put the lid into it.
- put it on heat only for one whistle.
- now remove it from flame.
- keep it untouch till its steam is remaining.
- after 15 minutes open the lid and enjoy it.
